We’re a small cat boarding business by design. This is our lifestyle and our passion. With on-site veterinary support and a true love for cats, we provide personalised care for every guest, including those with extra needs. Each cat receives plenty of attention, play, and cuddles, often with help from our children. By limiting our numbers, we ensure the time and space to meet every cat’s physical and emotional needs with care and expert oversight. Your cat becomes part of our family.
Boarding Services
Cat Boarding: $35 per day
additional cat: $24.50 per day
Discounts for stays over 1 month
Our standard suites are safe, comfortable spaces, designed to minimise stress, with soft bedding and a calm, secure environment where your cat can truly relax. Condos can be connected to give cats more space where needed. We can add enrichment toys, climbing options, and cozy resting spots. Guests can also enjoy our dedicated playroom, either as a shared space or for private play sessions tailored just to them.

Extra Health Care - $20/day
We always make sure your cat is feeling well, but for elderly, recovering, or medically fragile cats—such as those with diabetes or requiring daily medication—we provide extra one-on-one care and monitoring. These guests stay in specially set-up suites designed to reduce stress and accommodate limited mobility, with reduced vertical space if needed. Due to the additional care involved, a surcharge of applies for cats requiring this level of medical attention.
Comfort Add-ons
Personalised Play Sessions - $10/day
We offer one-on-one interactive time using your cat’s favourite toys—feather wands, laser pointers, or simply gentle pats and cuddles. These sessions are great for bonding, stimulation, and easing anxiety.
Custom Reporting (included)
We keep you connected with daily updates, sent via email. We also do daily photo updates on our facebook page. You’ll know how your cat is doing while you’re away.
While Melanie Zwiener is a qualified veterinarian, she does not provide treatment through the cattery directly. Instead, we offer the full range of veterinary services either on-site—by arrangement with Nelson Vet Clinic—or at the clinic itself. Melanie provides expert care guidance on-site, and if treatment is needed, it can be delivered as a formal house call through Nelson Vets. This ensures your cat receives professional, fully insured care without delay. Additional costs apply for all veterinary services, and we’re also happy to coordinate with your preferred vet for an extra handling fee.
